APPLICATION :
The application or registration process for IELTS is quite easy and fast. The following steps will help you get through the registration –
First, find the nearest IELTS test location.
Then land on the official IELTS site and start registering yourself.
While registering, fill in basic details at first like DOB, e-mail ID, country, mobile number, address, name, etc., and then provide or upload your ID proof.
For ID proof you will be required to provide your passport as the main document.
This will include filling in the information about nationality, education, etc.
At the end review your application and then pay the fee.
After submitting the form, register yourself for the IELTS test and you are done.
ELIGIBILITY :
There are no strong rules for the eligibility of the candidate aspiring to give IELTS. But it does hold certain pointers to be kept in consideration by the candidates. They are –
The candidate must be at least the age of 16.
If any school requires the IELTS score then yes exceptions can be made.
The candidate must be well-versed and should have knowledge of the English language.
The nationality or background doesn’t matter.
Except for this there are no other eligibility criteria for the IELTS examination.

The examination pattern or the test format for IELTS includes four sections – listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

Find your strength in any one section of the 4 in the exam and target to master it first.
Solve IELTS sample questions.
Set realistic goals for yourself according to your own comfort.
Distribute your time prudently into learning new things, practicing them, and also reviewing the previous stuff.
Focus on improving grammar, writing skills, and speed according to the time limit.
Timely check your progress by official practice tests.
Find appropriate and enough study material to go through.

RESULT :
In case if the candidate has taken the IELTS exam on paper then their result or TRF(Test Report Forum) is available 13 days after the exam was taken.
In the case where the student has taken the IELTS test on the computer then their result is available in the next 3- 5 days.
The test result is available online for 28 days.
In case your results have to be sent to a specific organization before a designated time frame then surely contact your test centre.

Your IELTS score is marked from 1-9 bands. 0 is also the band given to the students who missed their exam.
If the candidate is not happy with the score then they can surely call for the review of their score through the service called an EOR(Enquiry of Result).
