About SAU

During the 13th SAARC summit in Dhaka in the year 2005, the idea of establishing The SOUTH ASIAN UNIVERSITY (SAU) was mooted by the Prime Minister of India. The impermanent grounds of the University were at first set up in a couple of structures given free by the Jawaharlal Nehru University. The grounds were along these lines migrated in 2011 to Akbar Bhawan, Chanakyapuri in south Delhi.

Hostel Facility

Lodging convenience (on a 3-to-a-room premise) is given exclusively to those understudies who come from outside the National Capital Region of Delhi (NCR).
