About AIMSR
Adesh Institute of Medical Science and Research (AIMSR) is a private medical college under the flagship of the Adesh Foundation. It was founded in 2006 in Bathinda, Punjab. Annually, 150 students can get admission to its MBBS course. AIMSR is recognized and approved by the Medical Council of India. Previously affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, it is now affiliated with Adesh University.
The college has a hospital attached to it. The hospital has 720 beds with 25 beds for emergencies.

The course fees for MBBS in the first year are Rs 10.9 lacs. The total fee for MD is Rs 16.5 lacs.
Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for MBBS need to have a science background in their 12th grade with biology as the main subject. They also need to qualify for the NEET exam and secure a good score to get admission.
Students applying for MD need to have an MBBS degree. Or if they are applying for any other Master’s, they need to have the relevant Bachelor’s degree in that field.
Hospital Care Unit of AIMSR
The Teaching Hospital of AIMSR is a seven-storied building with a basement. It has 720 beds and the entrance foyer of the hospital has space to seat 1350 outdoor patients.
In-Vitro fertilisation (IVF) was introduced for infertile couples in 2015. This centre provides reproductive and fertility care in a healthy environment.
The hospital also has a fully equipped and licensed blood bank for blood processing facilities under the Department of Transfusion Medicine.
The laboratories of AIMSR are fully furnished with the latest instruments and technology.

Apart from these, AIMSR has a rural health training centre and an urban health centre.
The Library of AIMSR
The Adesh Institute of Medical Science and Research has a library on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main college building. It is centralised, air-conditioned and has spacious rooms for students to read. The library is open for 16 hours per day and there are more than 400 seats for students to read. The total number of books in the central library is over 13000, which also includes 1500+ printed e-journals and other recreational books. The library services are

Do I have to pass the NEET to apply for the MBBS course in AIMSR?
Yes. Giving the NEET exam is a must for all the students irrespective of caste.

The placements are as good as those in Engineering colleges. The college provides a compulsory internship for all its students which makes it easier for students to bag high-salaried jobs both in the private and public sectors.
