About KEAM 2022
KEAM (Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam) is a state-level entrance exam taken by the Commission of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. Students seeking undergraduate courses in disciplines like Engineering and Architecture can give this entrance exam. Both Private and Government colleges offering courses in these two disciplines accept KEAM scores for admission.

KEAM 2022: Eligibility Criteria
All Indians including Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) are eligible for this exam. There will be no relaxation for such people.
There is no upper age limit for KEAM. Students who are 17 years or above can apply.
Students need to pass Higher Secondary Examination (HSE), Kerala or anything equivalent with at least 45% marks. They also need to have a Science background with Physics and Chemistry as main subjects and Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science or Biotechnology as optional subjects.
Students in the minority category or PwD will get a mark relaxation of 5%.
KEAM 2022: Registration
Students meeting the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the Official Website of the Commission of Entrance Examination (CEE). They will have to create an account here. Once the account is created, students can download the application form and fill it in with the necessary details. Documents required for the application form
Scanned copy of a Passport-sized Photograph. The file format can be JPEG or JPG. The dimensions should be 150×200. The file size should be 10kb to 30kb.

The Commission of Entrance Examination (CEE) Kerala will give a correction window to students who have made mistakes while filling out the application form. Students need to pay an application fee. The application fee details are as follows

KEAM 2022: Exam Pattern
The exam will be offline. There are two parts: Paper I and Paper-II. The papers will be MCQ-based on an OMR sheet. The exam dates of the two parts will be different. In both the parts, 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer. 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. There will be no negative or positive marking for unanswered questions.
Paper-I will have 120 questions from Physics and Chemistry. This section is for students seeking admission in Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.
Paper-II will have 120 questions from Math. This section is for students seeking admission in Engineering and Architecture.
The time given for the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.

Will I get extra time to make corrections on my application form after the correction window is over?
No. You will have to make corrections within the given time. No extra time will be given. If CEE Kerala finds any error during document verification, they will reject your application form. So be very careful while filling out the application form.
When will CEE Kerala declare the results?
CEE Kerala will declare the results on their official website after the exam. Students need to constantly check their website to see if they have released it. Your result will be a scorecard. CEE Kerala will also declare a rank list based on which the seat allotment in the counselling will be decided.
Where can I get the Admit Card?
After the registration window closes, CEE Kerala will release the admit card on their website. Logging into your account will allow you to download it. Remember to bring your admit card with you to the exam centre.
Which books can I refer to for the Syllabus?
You can refer to NCERTs or any other standard book for 12th grade.
