The Central Tribal University Of Andhra Pradesh is a Central University established in 2019. The foundation of this university was required under the thirteenth schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The university is operating from a transit campus. It is yet to be located in Marrivalasa, Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh, India.

The CTUAP has been allotted 525 acres of land in Relli Village, Vizianagaram district by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The university has been sanctioned Rs.834 crore by the union cabinet for its construction. Out of this, Rs.420 crore was sanctioned for the first phase of construction.

It enables responsive and transformative educational experiences focused on specialised disciplinary learning. This is enhanced with a combination of collaborative and innovative culture with a deep-rooted commitment to diversity and inclusion culminating to be an exemplary tribal university that empowers the tribal youth in nation-building and global competitiveness.

The university was established through the Central University Amendment Act, of 2019. Mr. T.V. Kattimanni was appointed as its first vice-chancellor.

The courses offered and their fee structure by CTUAP

There are different types of bachelor’s and master’s courses offered by the university. Some of the courses and their fee structure are listed below:

CTUAP provide different facilities to its students. Facilities like:

Laboratory

Security, etc.

Are provided by the university for the smooth functioning of the educational department.

Eligibility criteria of CTUAP

The eligibility criteria of CTUAP for both UG and PG courses are as follows:

For UG courses: UG courses’ eligibility criteria is 10+2 in the related subject group. On the basis of the final merit list provided by the university, admission is offered. The candidates also need to qualify for several allotment rounds provided by the university.

For PG courses: The candidates should have a bachelor’s degree of at least 50% aggregate. Admissions are based on the marks of the entrance test in university.
