ABOUT

Banaras Hindu University (BHU), also Central Hindu College. It is an Indian central university in Varanasi. It is ‘A’ graded by NAAC. It is recognised by the UGC. According to the NIRF Ranking 2021, BHU is ranked third among the Top Universities in India. The BHU Campus covers 1,300 acres of land and has every facility imaginable for students. It is, in fact, Asia’s largest residential university, with over 30,000 students living on campus. BHU Affiliated Colleges consists of six institutes, fourteen faculties, 140 departments, four interdisciplinary centers, a constituent college for women, and three constituent schools.

 

BHU has its own entrance test, whose registration has been started for 2022.

 

Brief

 

For admission to UG and PG courses, BHU has now adopted the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admissions for PG courses in 2022 are now open. Candidates interested in the CUET PG 2022 must apply online at cuet.nta.nic.in. The CUET PG 2022 application form must be submitted by June 18, 2022. CUET UG registration is now closed. The application form correction window for CUET UG 2022 will be open until May 31, 2022. BHU Ph.D. admissions for 2022 are also now open. The application deadline for RET 2022 is May 31, 2022. The PhD/Integrated, M.Phil/Ph.D. RET 2022 will be held on June 25, 2022.

  2. Eligibility: 10+2 pass, Graduate/Postgraduate Degree with Vocal/ Instrumental Music/ Dance (Kathak/ Bharatnatyam) as one of the subjects in any of the above courses. 50% total marks in Music Practical/Dance Practical (for SC/ST candidates only passing marks are required)

  1. Duration -:3 Years

  2. Eligibility: 10+2 pass or a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree, 3-Year Diploma in Vocal Music/Instrumental Music/ Dance.  50% marks in Music/ Dance Practical is required for the above-mentioned courses (for SC/ST only pass marks are required)

Application Form

 

BHU UET application forms will be available from the last week of April. Banaras Hindu University will soon announce the deadline to submit the BHU UET application form 2022. To apply for the entrance test, first, check the eligibility criteria.

  • Visit the official website of the Banaras Hindu University http://bhuonline.in/.

  • Click on the apply button.

  • Then register yourself by giving all the proper details.

  • After that, you will get a confirmation message.

  • Log in to the page and upload all the necessary documents.

  • After that make the payment.

Eligibility Criteria

 

  • The only Citizen of India can apply for the entrance exam that is conducted by the BHU University. 

  • The aspirants who are of 22 years as of 1st July 2022 are eligible to apply for the entrance exam. 

  • The aspirants who belong to the SC / ST / PC category have a relaxation of 5 years of age at the time of admission and that of the OBC category have a relaxation of 3 years at the time of admission.

  • The aspirants who are local or permanent residents of Banaras are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

  • One who has secured a least of 50 % marks or more in the qualifying exam will only be eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
