This is a formal letter which is written from one organisation to the other or customers and it sticks to the formal letter format.
- Things to be considered while writing a business letter:
- The description of the product or service which is being ordered as well as the quantity.
- How you want to receive your order- by post, by rail, by transport etc.
- How you are going to make the payment- money order, cheque, draft, etc.
EXAMPLE : You are Ashish, Librarian of Greenfield Public School, Jodhpur. Write a letter to the sales manager of Bharat Publishers Limited, Jodhpur placing an order for the books you wish to purchase for your school library. Also ask for a discount permissible on the purchase.
