About the Scholarship
In 1981, the Charles Wallace India Trust was founded. Following a deal between the governments of India and the United Kingdom, CWIT was founded as an English charity in 1981. Overview
CWIT provides up to 7 long-term prizes each year. These fellowships last ten months and are available to artists of all genres. Eligibility Requirements
The candidate ought to:
- Have Indian citizenship and reside in India.
- Be in the age range of 28 to 38
- Have not been awarded a CWIT grant in the previous five years.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or other professional certificates in their field of expertise. CWIT favors candidates with a lot of professional experience
How to apply
Applicants are chosen for interviews at the British Council in New Delhi in February after being shortlisted based on their applications. CWIT chairs the panels of Indian specialists. The discussion outcomes will be public in the first week of April.
