The Syllabus of Fine Arts (312) exam is divided into 4 units:
The Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting.
The Mughal and Deccan Schools of Miniature Painting.
The Bengal School and Cultural Nationalism.
The Modern Trends in Indian Art.
These 4 units will include all the subtopics.
Unit 1: The Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting (16th Century-19th Century AD)
This unit will have an introduction to Indian Miniature Schools: The Rajasthani Schools and the Pahari Schools.
The Rajasthani Schools: Students will have to study the origin and development of the following schools:
Mewar, Bundi, Bikaner, Kishangarh, and Jaipur. Students also need to study the main features of these schools.
They will also have to study the following Rajasthani paintings:
