What is CUET 2022?

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 is an exam taken by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students seeking undergraduate courses in the Central Universities of India are eligible to take this exam. Around 45 Central Universities accept CUET scores for admission. About the Fine Arts (312) Exam

The Fine Arts (312) exam of class 12 includes subtopics of Painting, Graphics, Sculpture and Commercial Arts. There will be one question paper with 50 questions out of which students must answer 40. The questions will be about the historical evolution of art in India. It will also be about the art forms in different parts of India. Students will have to study the famous paintings drawn by the renowned painters of olden times.

CUET 2022: Fine Arts (312) Exam Syllabus

The Syllabus of Fine Arts (312) exam is divided into 4 units:

  • The Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting.

  • The Mughal and Deccan Schools of Miniature Painting.

  • The Bengal School and Cultural Nationalism.

  • The Modern Trends in Indian Art.

 

These 4 units will include all the subtopics.

Unit 1: The Rajasthani and Pahari Schools of Miniature Painting (16th Century-19th Century AD)

This unit will have an introduction to Indian Miniature Schools: The Rajasthani Schools and the Pahari Schools.

  • The Rajasthani Schools: Students will have to study the origin and development of the following schools:

Mewar, Bundi, Bikaner, Kishangarh, and Jaipur. Students also need to study the main features of these schools.

They will also have to study the following Rajasthani paintings:
