Delhi Institute of Rural Development was initiated in 2002. All the courses of DIRD College are affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Within these years since it was started, it has developed a center of excellence in education in its all streams. The Founder Chairman of DIRD College is Mr. Rafilal.

Delhi Institute of Rural Development Admission Procedure  

The Admission Procedure for Law and other courses at DIRD Delhi is explained below:- 

The Admission Procedure to Law Courses of the DIRD, Holambhi Khurd, Delhi, entirely depends on CLAT-UG scores. 

Whereas admission to other courses of the DIRD, Holambhi Kurd, Delhi goes through the Common Entrance Test (CET) directed by GGSIPU. The Admission Process includes counseling based on the rank achieved by students in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGSIPU CET).  

Important dates for Admission Process  

January 1 to March 31, 2022 – Registration for CLAT 2022 

May 8, 2022 – CLAT 2022 Exam Date 

December 18, 2022 – CLAT 2023 Exam Date

B.Ed 

For admission to B.Ed courses, applicants must pass out IPU CET B.Ed.



B.Com 

For admission to B.Com courses, applicants must pass the IPU CET B.Com, which will be supervised by GGSIPU.

BBA.LLB 

UG Programmes candidates have to be qualified CLAT UG and CLAT PG for PG Law courses.

BA.LLB 

To get admission to Law, UG Courses applicants must pass the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT UG) and CLAT PG for PG Law Programmes.

BBA/BBA 

(B&I)

To get admission to BBA Courses,  

applicants must clear the IPU CET BBA entrance test, which is directed by GGSIPU Delhi.



Counseling Procedure at DIRD College  

All the steps for counseling procedure at DIRD Delhi are given below:-

Delhi Institute of Rural Development Eligibility Criteria  

• Eligibility Criteria for BA.LLB & BBA.LLB courses: applicants should pass in 10+2 class of CBSE with at least 50% in aggregate and also pass in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. 

• Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed courses: required Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any well-known University with passed out all subjects. 

• Eligibility Criteria for B.Com: minimum 50% of marks in 12th with passing in five subjects. Intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board or an Examination certified as equal to that (Pass in Five written subjects). Indian School Certificate Examination (12 years) supervised by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi. A foreign University/board examination is certified as equal to the 12th CBSE examination. 

• For BBA & Allied Programmes BBA(G) & BBA(B&I): applicants must be qualified in the 12th class of CBSE with at least 50% of marks and should have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject. 

DIRD College Placements  

At DIRD College, recruiting firms for B.A.LL.B are  HDFC Bank, IBM, Reliance Communication, Axis Bank, TATA AIG Insurance, Cholamandalam, and Wipro. 

The highest salary package for B.A.LL.B students ranges from 5-10 LPA, and the average salary package ranges from 1-2.5LPA. From 50,000 to 1 Lac per annum is the range of the lowest salary package.
