How to take admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University[JNU]?

 

 

 

JNU conducts its exam JNU Entrance Examination(JNUEE) for students applying to any of its programs at UG and PG admission.

 

Note: For admission in Biotechnology Courses, JNU conducts a national level entrance examination namely JNU CEEB (JNU Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology) once a year.

 

The conducting body for JNU exams is National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam is conducted as a computer-based test.

 

JNU releases the cut-off of its exams (JNUEE & JNU CEEB) for its different kinds of courses. The cut-offs depend on the courses you’re applying for.

 

After clearing the cut-offs of JNU, you’re eligible to take admission in JNU if you complete the online document verification process and pay the academic fees, you will confirm your seat at JNU.

JNU Scholarships:

Ford Foundation Scholarship

The students enrolled in the MA Programme are eligible for this scholarship.

This is awarded purely on a merit basis.

3.

Prof. Ramesha Rao Scholarship and Travel Grant 

Students securing the highest grade in cancer biology are awarded Rs.3000 per month for 10 months in a year.

 

Travel Grant of Rs. 30,000 for M.Phil/Ph.D. student for presenting a paper in international conferences, seminars, etc. in the area of cancer biology.

4.

Tendulkar Scholarship

This Scholarship of Rs.400/- p.m. is awarded for two years to 2 students of various Centres of School of Social Sciences by rotation.

5.

Prof. Nurul Hasan Scholarship

Two Scholarships of Rs.1500/- p.m. each are awarded for one year to students of the second year M.A./M.Sc./MCA students with the highest CGPA at the end of the first year, one of which shall be for Social Science subjects and the other for Science subjects.
