Solution:Phycomycetes,Ascomycetes,Basidiomycetes and Deuteromycetes are the different classes of fungi.
Phycomycetes
Phycomycetes are obligate parasites found on plants. Both sexual and asexual modes of reproduction are found in fungi. Asexual reproduction is formed by motile zoospores or by non-motile aplanospores. These two spores are formed in the sporangium.Sexual reproduction occurs by the fusion of two gametes. These two gametes are similar and are called isogamous, while dissimilar gametes are called anisogamous or oogamous.
Ascomycetes
Ascomycetes are saprophytic, decomposers, parasitic,or coprophilous. The asexual mode of reproduction occurs by conidiospores formed on conidia.Ascospores formed in sacs like asci are responsible for the sexual mode of reproduction.
Basidiomycetes
Members of the basidiomycetes are parasites. The asexual mode of reproduction occurs by a process called fragmentation.Sexual reproduction takes place by a process called plasmogamy.
Deuteromycetes
Members of the deuteromycetes are parasites or saprophytes.Only an asexual mode of reproduction is found in this class of fungi.Asexual reproduction occurs by asexual spores formed in conidia.
