GPAT
What does GPAT mean? Its full form is the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test. Students who wish to pursue M.Pharm programs can give GPAT. It is a National level entrance test which is conducted and managed by NTA (National Testing Agency).
All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi was responsible for conducting GPAT till 2018. The results are accepted by 800 participating institutes as well as all AICTE-approved institutions and universities.
Out of a total of 48,360 appeared candidates, only 4,913 candidates were able to qualify for the GPAT 2020 exam. As many as 43,447 candidates were not able to qualify for the national-level entrance exam. The scores of the exam will be accepted by 800 participating institutes which are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

GPAT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The eligibility criteria are set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) which determines the ability and basic acumen of the candidate to appear for the exam. Below are the criteria:
The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent from a recognized university.
Candidates who are taking a bachelor’s degree qualifying examination and will receive their results before the start of the academic year 2022-23 can also apply.
The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
There is no age restriction.
GPAT ADMISSION PROCESS
The registration for the examination will be the first step in the admissions process. Applicants for the PG entrance exam must first register on the official website. Candidates can fill out the application form after completing the registration process.
After they have been successfully submitted, the applications are scrutinized. The admission card will be issued to the applicants whose applications have been accepted by the NTA. After that, candidates must take an online test.
The candidates who took the exam, the results will be declared and then, they will proceed for the counseling round.
Candidates must apply independently to each chosen institute/college in order to participate in the counseling process. The cut-off scores were announced by the participating institute based on the applications received. Candidates who score within the cutoff range are accepted to the institute.

GPAT Registration – Register yourself online on the official website of NTA, and make a note of the Application Number generated by the system.
Fill and complete GPAT application form – Login with the user ID and password. Enter required details.
Scan and upload required documents. Scan your photo and signature according to the defined standards.
Pay the examination fee by the mode of payment available. The fee varies as per the candidate’s category.
