Solution: Just like humans or other living organisms, plants also have well coordinated systems for regulation.

Chemical coordination occurs in plants with the help of fluids secreted within the plants called as plant hormones or phytohormones. And these hormones regulate various events like development of seed, growth of plants , and ripening of fruits.

Hormones responsible for coordination in plants are:

1. Gibberellic Acid : it is responsible for stimulating plant growth , seed germination also triggers transition from vegetative to flowering.

2.Auxin: Auxin stimulates cell elongation in the stem, promotes normal growth  and also influences growth  of stems toward the light.

3.Cytokinin: it involves cell division, or cytokinesis in both plant shoots and roots.
