Indraprasth Institute of Information Technology initially started with 60 students in 2008. It is a state-level institute that is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). The institute is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and has the NAAC Grade ‘A’ accreditation. The Government of Delhi funds IIIT Delhi, which maintains administrative and academic autonomy. NIRF 2021 recently placed the institute 63rd among the top engineering institutes in India. IIIT Delhi currently provides UG, PG, Ph.D., and PG Diploma programs.
The main course at IIIT Delhi is the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). JEE Main scores and counseling by the Joint Admission Committee are used to determine admission to the course (JAC). For the general category, the JEE Main cutoff for CSE at IIIT Delhi ranges from 9446 to 10285.
There are currently six divisions and six centers operating under the institute’s umbrella.

In recent years, various organisations have named IIIT Delhi as one of India’s top educational institutions.
OFFERED COURSES
Engineering, Design, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, IT and Software, and Software Engineering are among the eight specializations offered by the institute. The main programme of IIIT Delhi is the BTech, which is a four-year programme. The MTech programme takes two years to complete. To be qualified for the degree, students must take all of the core courses as well as one elective subject (depending on the student’s preference) and fulfill the program-specific credits each semester, according to the institute’s curriculum.
