Introduction TO IIT-MADRAS
IIT-Madras is located in Chennai, India. INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Madras is one of the highest qualified colleges for Engineering. The institute itself is the highest-ranked university by NTA(National Testing Agency). The students who have scored more than 90-percentile in their JEE-Mains can opt for JEE-Advance. Out of these participants, very few are eligible to get into the University of IIT.
IIT Madras was established in the year 1959 and has been encouraging students to follow their passion in the field of engineering and research.

For a long time, IIT institutes have started only certificated courses for students who wanted to gain experience in advanced level technologies.Websites like www.coursera.org or nptel.ac.in are providing education by assigning professors from the Indian Institute of Technology. Advance level courses on Blockchain Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Database Management systems, Algorithms, Security etc. are offered for students who want to explore different domains.

IIT Madras was placed 255 in the Q.S. World University Rankings of 2022. IIT Madras has announced that all its computer science courses will be available online and for free.
These courses are provided by the Faculty of Department to help Undergraduate students and Postgraduate students to get quality education. Following are the courses available on their portal for Computer Science engineering:-

These courses will provide students with basic to advanced levels of education about hardware and software components.
Participants in the courses can also participate in quizzes on the portal to measure their level of understanding of the material.
In future, the department intends to construct randomized quizzes for better evaluation.
The department also intends to enlist the help of senior students to conduct live tutorial sessions and answer students’ questions.
