IOCL Scholarship was started to provide financial aid for young Indian sportsperson from the age of 13-19 years by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Know more about eligibility, terms, advantages and reservation through this article.
IOCL Scholarship for sportsperson 2022:
IOCL Scholarship is for three years. The main motto of the scheme is to encourage young talent to do better.
There are two types of scholarships that will be available to sportspersons, namely “Elite Scholar” and “Scholar”.
The applicant must be a player in one of the below-mentioned sports:

Eligibility to apply for IOCL Scholarship 2022:
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- The applicant must not have applied for any other Sports Scholarship.
- The age of the applicant should be between 13-19 years.
- Must be a participant in any of the above-listed sports.
- Elite Scholar applicants must be representing National team and Scholar applicants should be representing the State team.
Renewal and duration process of IOCL Sportsman Scholarship:
- The duration of the Scholarship is for three years.
- The review will be done at the end of each year on the performance of selected candidates and the Scholarship only renews if the candidate’s performance matches the criteria.
- If the player’s performance fails to match the criteria the Scholarship immediately gets revoked.

Terms and Conditions:
The IOCL Scholarship program has some terms and conditions. The applications will be rejected if the applicants do not abide by them.
- The selected players should not draw the benefit of any other sports scholarship simultaneously.
- The applications that fulfil all the terms and conditions will only be picked for shortlisting.
- The selected players must visit the IOC’s office with their own expenses.
IOCL Scholarship 2022 application procedure:
Step 1: Visit the application page
Step2: Candidates must thoroughly read the instructions. After submitting the form changes are not accepted.
Step 3: Candidates must submit the application along with a passport size photo, age proof and Performance certificate.
Step 4: The results will be conveyed to the applicant via mail or text message.
