Joint Entrance Examination- (Mains) is an all-India standardized computer-based test. It was earlier called All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE). National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts this examination for admission in technical undergraduate programs in B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan across India. These courses are provided by the National Institute of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).JEE Main is also a requirement for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced), which is essential for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). The National Testing Agency (NTA) takes the test in four sessions each year. The test is held in 13 languages in all of India’s states, as well as in other countries outside of India.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2022
JEE Main’s eligibility criteria is as follows:-
Age limit:- no age limit for appearing for the exam.
In 2020 or 2021, candidates must have passed a class 12 or equivalent exam. Candidates who will take the class 12 board exam as part of the JEE Main 2022 exam will be eligible as well.
Candidate must have studied Mathematics, physics, chemistry/ biology/ biotechnology/ technical vocational subject, language, and any other subject.
For admission, students must get a minimum score of 75% on the 12th-grade exam. For BArch admissions, a minimum of 50% is required.
Every year, all applicants are allowed to appear four times. Students can sit for JEE Main for three years in a row, resulting in a total of twelve tries for each student in three years.

JEE main 2022 Application Form
Registration for JEE Main 2022 will start tentatively from January last week. The application form filling process will be completely online. Candidates will be able to apply for one of the four sessions or all four at their leisure. The application form will be available on – jeemain.nta.nic.in
Steps to fill the Application form:-
Open the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
Select JEE Main Application form 2022
Select “New Registration”
Fill out the form and every required detail then click the “Submit” button.
Aspirants will receive an email and a text message with the application form number and password in their registered email ID and mobile phone number after finishing the JEE Main registration procedure. Candidates must keep their registration information safe/saved.
Candidates will be redirected to the page where they may fill out the comprehensive application form after completing the registration process. Candidates must supply information about their educational qualifications, parents’ information, communication, permanent addresses, and exam center preferences in this step.
Attach scanned images of your passport photo and signature.
Pay application fee
Following the successful payment of application costs, the application form will be instantly submitted.
Candidates must print out the completed application form after downloading it. Candidates should keep the print copy of the application form safe until the admissions process is completed.

JEE Main Syllabus 2022
In January, the NTA will release the JEE Main syllabus 2022 for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. The syllabus for JEE Main 2022 is most likely to remain unchanged, hence candidates can study using the prior syllabus.
