 What is JEE Main?

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. JEE Main is an Indian standardized computer-based test for admission into a variety of technical undergraduate programs in the fields of engineering, architecture, and planning across colleges throughout India. It is known as the first step of getting admission to IIT colleges. Exams are offered in 13 languages across all Indian states and in several other countries as well.

For enrollment in the entrance test, one should visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in 

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Main:

Age limit:

There is no restriction on age for enrolling in JEE Main.

Qualification:

Applicants who have passed an exam equivalent to class 12 are also eligible.

Mandatory Subjects

For B.Arch – Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry

For B.Tech- Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology, Biotechnology, Technical

For B.Plan- Mathematics

Number of Attempts

The candidates can appear in this exam for three consecutive years beginning in the year after they pass class 12

Mock Test for JEE Main

NTA (National Testing Agency) is an Indian government body that works for educational institutions by conducting entrance examinations. Candidates preparing for these exams can take NTA mock tests for exams such as JEE, NEET, UGC-NET, GPAT, etc. Candidates can attempt a mock test on the official website of NTA.

Additionally, candidates can also practice topics-by-topic or by taking the complete test through the NTA Abhyas App.

Documents Requirement for JEE Main

The application process of registration for JEE Main should be done online. The required documents for the online registration are as per the following table:
