Joining Hands is a public charitable trust whose aim is to provide support and facilities to the underprivileged youth of the country and help them become successful. The Joining Hands Higher Education Scholarship programme is an initiative by this trust in association with Cadence Design System IPL for meritorious students from weaker economical backgrounds.

This scholarship programme is to help underprivileged students financially in pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Joining Hands Higher Education Scholarship Programme: Eligibility Criteria 

  1. Students must belong to low-income families.

  2. Only students from Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru are eligible.

  3. Students must be pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course from an Indian institute.

  4. Students need to score 60% in 12th grade if they want this scholarship while pursuing an undergraduate course. Students awaiting their 12th-grade exam results can also apply.

  5. Postgraduate students will require a Bachelor’s degree to avail of the scholarship. Students waiting for their final semester’s results can also apply.

How can you Apply for the Joining Hands Higher Education Scholarship Programme?

  1. To fill out the application form, students are required to visit the official website of Joining Hands.

  2. Students will need to click on the “important documents” section to download the application form. The documents required are

  • Passport sized photograph 

  • 12th-grade mark sheet (for undergraduate students)

  • Graduation degree for postgraduate students

  • Family income proof

  • Any document for date of birth proof

  1. Students will need to self attest to these documents while filling out the application form.

  2. After completion, students need to send the complete application form to info@joininghandsindia.org. Joining Hands will reject any incomplete form.

Joining Hands invites students to fill out the application form in May every year. The selection process will involve the following steps:
