What is KC Mahindra Scholarship

KC Mahindra Scholarship provides interest-free loans to students who want to pursue postgraduate courses across the country. It was initiated by Mahindra and Mahindra Limited (M&M) under the KC Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) program. Its objective is to motivate meritorious students who are financially weak.

Scholarship rewards

  • The top three candidates will receive a maximum amount of Rs.800000

  • KCMET provides interest-free loans of up to Rs.400000 to each candidate

  • The selected candidates may pursue their higher studies in top-ranked institutions  

Eligibility criteria

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen

  • The candidate must have graduated from a recognized Indian university

  • An excellent academic record

  • Must take admission for a post-graduate course in an international university

  • He/she must have a first-class degree or an equivalent diploma

How to apply

The process to apply is both online and offline.

For online application, the steps are:

  • Go to KC Mahindra Education Trust‘s official website

  • Click on what we do tab

  • Select click here to apply

  • The application form page will appear

  • Enter all the details correctly

  • Upload all the required documents

  • Check the form and submit it

For offline application, the steps are:

  • Download the KC Mahindra Scholarship form

  • Take a printout and fill up the details

  • Attach all the required documents

  • Send the form to KC Mahindra Education Trust, Cecil Court, Mahakavi Bhushan Marg, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, 400001

Key documents

  1. Age proof of the applicant

  2. Admission letter of an international university

  3. Degree certificate and mark sheets

  4. Letter of recommendation from the university

  5. Applicant’s rank certificate (if applicable)

  6. A photocopy of the Gre/GMAT score card (if applicable)

  7. A photocopy of the IELTS/TOEFL score card (if applicable)

  8. 10th and 12th mark sheet

  9. Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the applicant

  10. A short statement of purpose

Selection process

  • The selection committee chooses the candidates based on their merit, ambition, and financial background.

  • They shortlist the candidates according to the form and written purpose statement.

  • The committee prefers candidates who want to pursue courses that will help in India’s development

  • The selection committee will conduct an interview and their decision is final.
