Kezia used to be scared of her father because of his rude behavior. On a week before her father’s birthday, her grandmother suggested her to gift him a handmade pin-cushion. Kezia took it as an opportunity to please her father. Eagerly, she stitched three sides of the cushion and left one side open for stuffing.
She went into her mother’s bedroom in anticipation to find some stuffing material. In her mother’s bedroom, she encountered numerous sheets of paper arranged in a pile. She took them, tore them in fine pieces, and stuffed her case. She didn’t know that the papers she stuffed had her father’s speech for Port Authority.
When her father got to know about her demeanor, he got agitated and punished her with a ruler. Thus, her efforts to please her father resulted in displeasing him very much.
