About LPU Nest 2022

LPU NEST stands for Lovely Professional University (LPU) National Entrance and Scholarship Test (NEST). As the name suggests, it’s an entrance exam plus a scholarship test for admission to the University for various courses like B-Tech, BSc, MBA, Agriculture, Hotel Management, Design etc. The test will be in online mode. There are LPU test centres in 28 states and 200 cities. The scholarship is given based on the rank and marks of the students on the exam

LPU Nest 2022: Application Process

You can fill out the application form either online or offline. Visit here to register yourself. Once you do, you can fill out the application form. If you choose the offline mode, visit the LPU campus and collect the application form by paying the fee. The documents required for the application form are

  • Passport-sized photographs of the student and their parents.

  • Aadhar Card of the student and their parents.

  • Certificates of previous qualifications, including 10th-grade/12th-grade certificate if applicable. 

  • Gap affidavit (if applicable, self)

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Income certificate of parents. (if applying for a PhD, income certificate of the student)

The syllabus depends on the course you’re applying for. Competition is high as thousands of students appear for this exam. For B-Tech, the paper will be MCQ-based. There will be 125 questions having 4 marks each with no negative marking for wrong answers. The total marks will be 500. 

 

LPU Nest 2022: Admit Card

The admit card will contain the following details

  • Student’s Name

  • Roll Number

  • Exam Date and Time

  • Exam Centre

  • Date of Birth of the Student

  • Rules and Regulations 

 

It will be available for download on the official website of LPU a few days after you fill out the application form. It is extremely important to carry the admit card to the exam centre else you won’t be allowed to take the exam. You can download the admit card from the official website. 

 

LPU Nest 2022: Results

LPU will declare the results 24 hours after you’ve taken the exam. You can check your result by logging in to your account on the LPU’s registration portal. If you pass the cut-off, you will be eligible for counselling. Attend the counselling session within 7 days after your results are out.

 

LPU Nest 2022: Counselling

For counselling, pay an initial fee of Rs 20000 to confirm your seat. You need to pay this fee within the given time limit. Documents required for counselling are

  • Passport-sized Photograph

  • Date of Birth Proof (Aadhar Card, PAN card, 10-grade certificate etc.)

  • Eligibility Certificate

The counselling will be done in online mode. Fill in your seat preference, submit the required documents and complete the admission form for counselling.

  1. On what basis will I get a Scholarship if I pass the LPU Nest?

Scholarships depend on how many marks you get on the exam. The scholarship offers financial aid to students if they fit the criteria. Around 50% of the program fee is given by the scholarship. For more details, check here.

 

  1. Is it compulsory to qualify for the LPU Nest to get admitted to LPU?

Yes. The LPU Nest is an entrance exam for over 150 programs that LPU offers. You need to pass the exam to take admission.

 

  1. Can I reapply for the exam if I fail once?

Yes. You can reapply when LPU releases the application form the next time. There is no limit to the number of attempts. 

 

  1. What is the cut-off for the LPU Nest 2022?

The exam cut-off depends on the course you’re applying for since the exam patterns differ by program.
