Introduction
MHT-CET is a state-level competitive exam for students interested in pursuing higher education in Maharashtra. This entrance exam focuses mainly on degree programs in the following fields: Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, and Management.
The Maharashtra CET 2022 had initially slated to take place between June 11 and 28, 2022, during the testing session.
The Maharastra government had taken an initiative to conduct this MHT-CET every year. The Head of technical education is in charge of the event.
As per the announcement, JEE-Mains has scheduled between June 20 and 29,2022, according to the revised timetable. Now it is officially announced to be held in May 2022. NEET 2022 is announced to place in July 2022.

The minister and MHT-CET cell informed the public about the rescheduled date of the exam.
The exam date for the state board CET of Maharashtra has been postponed concerning the request of numerous candidates. The students expressed their concerns about the consecutive exam dates released for JEE Mains and NEET.
As the dates came in a clash between the above-mentioned significant competitive exams, students reported the schedule change. This recent announcement from CET Cell has consoled students to enroll and prepare themselves to take up the forthcoming schedule of their entrance exams
MHT-CET exam pattern:
The MHT CET 2022 exam will be an online operated exam for 3 hours.
Physics and Chemistry, along with Mathematics, will be covered in the exam.
It is to be noted that only after the completion of one section, you can go to the next session. Each session will be for 90 minutes.
It means that students should concentrate on either one of the sessions (physics & chemistry) or session 2( mathematics) during their initial hour.
MHT CET 2022 will contain multiple-choice questions with four possibilities, with only one correct alternative/answer.
The MHT CET exam does not have any negative markings.
The question paper for MHT CET 2022 will be set and assigned by the concerned authorities.
The questions are set based on the Syllabus of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
Std. XI curriculum will consist of 20% syllabus and 80% weight-age from Std. XII curriculum will be asked in your exam.
Since negative marking is not provided, all the students are advised to attend all the questions. The difficulty level will surely compete with the JEE Mains for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and the difficulty level for Biology will be the same compared to NEET. The questions asked will significantly test the student’s ability to understand the concepts.
MHT-CET Question paper pattern:
MHT-CET is designed to test all the basic knowledge studied in their higher secondary program. A total of 3-question papers of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)will be asked and Each paper will be 100 marks. Details are as given below:
Paper 1 will include 100 marks. 90 minutes is allowed for this section.
Paper 2 will include 90 minutes for 100 questions for 100 marks. Both physics and chemistry will be for 50 marks separately.
Paper 3 will be conducted for 90 minutes. This section includes 100 marks.
