Introduction

For the academic year 2022-24, NFSU (National Forensic Sciences University) has invited qualified individuals to apply online for admission to different Post Graduate programs, including M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology, M.Sc. Neuropsychology, M.Sc. Forensic Psychology, and M.A Criminology. The following are the details about the admission procedure and the courses.

 

Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU) is another name for National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). It is a higher learning institution in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. It focuses on forensic science and investigative science. The Gujarat Legislative Assembly approved Act 17 on September 30, 2008, establishing the institution. An Act of Parliament has also designated it as a Nationally Important Institution.

Admission Guidelines

Before filling out the entry form, please read the Admission Policy carefully.

  • The necessary fields in the form are indicated with an asterisk (*).

  • Each course requires a separate application form and application cost. Therefore, if you wish to apply for two courses, you must fill out two different application forms online and pay application fees for each course.

  • For the most up-to-date information, go to the NFSU entrance page Admission.

  • You can apply for admission if your last semester’s results have not yet been released. In that case, you need to enter the marks or grade of the semester for which you have a mark-sheet / provisional mark-sheet i.e., if you are doing B.Sc. Chemistry and your 6th Semester examination are yet not conducted or the 6th-semester semester result is awaited then enter the marks up to Semester-5 in educational-qualification details.

  • If your HSC results (12th) have not yet been released, you can still apply for admission to an undergraduate degree.

  • Only those applicants that have successfully paid the application fee will be evaluated for admission.

  • In any case, the application fee is non-refundable.

  • All applicants who have completed an application form and application money are entitled to take the NFSU entrance examination; however, this does not guarantee admission to the proposed programme.

  • Applicants must follow the NFSU’s rules and regulations on provisional grades, document submission deadlines, provisional admission, fee refunds, and admission cancellation. If the applicant fails to follow the specified rules and regulations, the applicant must abide by any other decision made by the NFSU authority.

  • It is the applicant’s exclusive obligation to monitor the website for significant dates, entrance examination schedules, merit lists, counseling schedules, and other relevant admission announcements.

  • It is the applicant’s exclusive duty to examine the website https://www.nfsu.ac.in/admission for eligibility requirements, cost structure, and other critical details of your programme.

  • If you choose any other option when filling out the online application form, an eligibility/equivalent committee will review your degree for admission eligibility or equivalence. The eligibility / equivalency committee’s decision is final, and the applicant must follow it in any situation.
