All about Olympiads:

Olympiads are national or international level tests that are mainly conducted from class 1 to class 12, graduate, and post-graduate students. These tests help to recognize the true strength, aptitude, and interest of the students. Students should become a participant in Olympiads as these tests become the base for future competitive exams.


Types of Olympiads:

Various Olympiads are conducted across the country, namely:

  1. HBCSE

  • Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education conducts two olympiads, namely:

  • International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO)– It is conducted for students from class 8 to class 12.

Regional Mathematical Olympiad

  • Descriptive questions

STAGE 3

Indian National Mathematical Olympiad

  • Descriptive questions

  • The eligible candidate can register through the official website by filling in the necessary credentials.

  • An eligible student can register at their school.

  • If the school is not registered with NSE, then the student can enroll at the nearby registered institute.

  1. NMMS

  • National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is the scholarship exam conducted in every state. It is conducted for students whose parental income is not more than 1.5k.

  • Eligibility: Students currently studying in class VIII.
