An organisation is formed by one or more than one person who come together for achieving a common purpose. It can be a company, an institution, or an association.
There can be various types of organisations such as- corporations, governments, non-governmental organizations, political organizations, international organisations, armed forces, charities, not-for -profit corporations, partnerships etc.
A hybrid organisation is one that operates both in the public and private sector simultaneously.
Voluntary organisations are also formed by people who come together willingly for achieving a particular goal.
Likewise, there are also some organisations which operate secretly or say illegally like the secret societies, criminal organizations and resistance movements.
For an organisation to be formed, there are four essentials:-
There must be a particular goal in mind( to be achieved by all the members)
A leader or committee which will take all the decisions.
There must be some actions involved.
And communication between and among the members.
So, if an organisation meets all the above stated essentials then we can say that it is an organisation.
