Answer– The author says that the atmosphere of Baudhnath was different from what he witnessed in the Pashupatinath Temple. The shrine of Baudhnath had a huge white dome which had a sense of calmness and composure whereas in Pashupatinath temple, there were so many Hindu devotees elbowed aside by others pushing their way to the front in a huge crowd. Apart from Hindu devotees there were priests, hawkers, tourists, cows, monkeys, pigeons, and dogs.
