TATA Scholarship Overview

The TATA Housing Scholarship for meritorious girl students is offered by TATA. Girls pursuing the second year of B- Tech/ B.E (Civil Engineering) or B.Arch courses are offered the scholarship. The main objective of the scholarship is to encourage and support meritorious girls belonging to financially weaker sections of society. Apart from the scholarship, the Organization has also been providing people with employability skill  development training and entrepreneurship development training in collaboration with various other Non-Government Organizations.

Details Of the TATA Scholarship

Benefits

TATA Housing Scholarship for meritorious girl students provides scholarships upto 

INR 60,000 to students who score more than 50% in all qualifying examinations.

Eligibility Criteria for TATA Scholarship

1. The candidate must be a girl student.
2. The candidate must have scored more than 50% in all qualifying exams.
3. The candidate must be in the second year of B.E/ B Tech (Civil Engineering) or  B.Arch.
4. The income of the candidate’s family must be less than INR 300000 per annum from all sources.

Documents Required

The candidates are required to submit all these documents while filling out their scholarship form.

1. Adhaar card
2. Pan card
3. Identity proof
4. Copies of 10th and 12th certificate and mark sheet.
5. Second-year admission confirmation letter
6. Caste certificates (in case of SC/ST candidates)
7. Passport size photo
8. Income certificate 
9. Copies of driving license, voter card, bank passbook and passport.

Stepwise Application procedure

1. The candidate will have to visit the official website of the TATA Housing Society.
2. Go to the Homepage of the Organization.
3. Click on the option ‘Apply for Candidates’.
4. Enter all your details carefully.
5. Upload required documents like caste, category and status.
6. Submit the Application form.
7. Make sure to take a printout of the filled Application form.

1. What are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship and where can I see eligibility criteria?

• The candidate must have scored 50% in all qualifying Exams. In order to see eligibility criteria go to  “Browse available schemes“, there click on the scholarship scheme name for eligibility criteria.

2. How should I get updated about my application status?

• For the update of your application you need to login into the portal by entering your registered email id and password. Once you login, it will be redirected to the dashboard. Under the field header named ‘Action‘, you can check your application and get updated.

3. Are there any contact details for any query?

4. Can I edit my saved documents?

• Yes, you can edit till the closure of the application form. But after your final submission, the application will be forwarded to the next level and hence the application cannot be edited.
