About UGC NET 2022
On April 30, 2022, the National Testing Agency announced the UGC NET 2022 notice. From April 30 to May 20, 2022, the UGC NET 2022 Online Application will be provided on the NTA’s official website. From May 21 through May 23, 2022, the UGC NET Online Application Correction window will be active. By May 20, 2022, aspirants must complete the UGC NET Application Form including the payments (11:50 pm).
The UGC Chairman has revealed the dates for the UGC NET Exams, which will take place in June 2022. The December 2021 and June 2022 cycles have been combined by the NTA. The UGC NET Exam Date, Schedule, and other details have not yet been issued.
University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is a national-level test. It evaluates the eligibility of applicants for “Assistant Professor” or “both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor” postings in Indian universities and colleges.

Important Information about the UGC NET 2022 Notification
A single application is permitted per applicant. A candidate’s application will not be accepted if he or she submits multiple Application Forms.
Only English and Hindi will be accessible for the question paper.
Each question is worth 02 (two) points, and the applicant will receive 02 (two) points for each correct response.
A mistaken response receives no penalty points.
Unanswered, unattempted, or marked for review questions will receive no credit.
Candidates will be allowed to modify their online applications by UGC NET authorities.
Only JPG/JPEG format should be used for the candidate’s photograph and signature.
The scanned picture of the photograph must be between 10 and 200 kb in size. The photograph need not be authenticated.
The signature scanned picture must be between 4 kb and 30 kb in size. On white paper, the candidate should write his whole signature in regular handwriting with a Black Ink pen and then scan it for uploading.
Do not transmit the confirmation page printout to the authority’s office.

Category certificate for PAN card/license/passport number/Aadhaar card number/Voter ID card number/any Government ID evidence (if applicable).

A certificate for people with disabilities (PwD) (if applicable).
In capital characters, write the candidate’s name, mother’s name, and father’s name as appearing on the HSC Examination or equivalent Board/University Certificate.
Date of birth, as printed on an SSC examination or an equivalent Board/University certificate, in the format dd/mm/yyyy.
Photo and signature scanned photos in JPG format (file size of photo: 10 kb to 200 kb, the file size of signature: 4 kb to 30 kb)

The National Testing Agency has not yet set a date for the UGC NET 2022 Exam. Candidates must thus await the official notification. The examination might be scheduled during the first/last week of June 2022.

Application Fee for UGC NET Notification 2022
The application fee for the UGC NET 2022 varies per category. Under no circumstances is the application fee refundable or transferable once paid. The UGC NET Application cost may be paid online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking account. Candidates can also pay via a bank challan in person or online. The following are the fees.

UGC-NET Eligibility Criteria 2022
Applicants undertaking master’s degree equivalent courses, candidates who have taken their qualifying master’s degree (Final year) examination and have yet to receive their results, or candidates whose qualifying examination has been postponed, are eligible to take the UGC NET 2022 Examination.
Candidates must have received at least 55 percent (without rounding off) in a Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination in Humanities (including languages), Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science, etc. from universities/ institutes recognized by the UGC.
For Reserved Category:
Candidates from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to the non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/PwD category who have obtained at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible to take this test.
States Eligibility Test:
Candidates who passed SET for Assistant Professor before June 1, 2002, are excluded from taking the NET and are allowed to apply for Assistant Professor positions throughout India.
Transgender candidates:
They would be eligible for the same fee, age, and qualification requirements for NET as SC/ST/PwD candidates.
UGC NET 2022 Syllabus
Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III are the three papers that make up the UGC NET syllabus. Because the UGC NET is an objective test, each question must be answered True or False.
You must meet the NTA’s cut-off marks as well as the minimum qualifying marks in each section. The results of the exam will be used to calculate your rank, which will help you get admission to various programs.
