Infrastructure is important for agriculture, industrial, domestic and foreign trade and commerce. As it provides supporting services to them. Some services are direct and some are indirect.  These services include following:-

  1. Roads
  2. Railways
  3. Ports
  4. Airports
  5. Dams
  6. Power station
  7. Oil and gas pipelines
  8. Telecommunication
  9. Educational system’
  10. Healthcare system, sanitary system and clean drinking water facility
  11. Monetary system include banks, insurance and financial institution.

INFRASTRUCTRE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS:-

  1. Economic – Energy, transportation and communication.
  2. Social – Education, health care and housing.
