Solution: Conflict is an unavoidable part of life in any culture. It’s a socially dissociative process. Because the emphasis is on system survival, rivalry and conflict are examined with the premise that, in most circumstances, they will be handled without causing undue hardship.
Conflicts can be resolved if we understand what is causing them. To resolve conflicts, a variety of social procedures such as accommodation, assimilation, and coercion are used. Certain tactics can also be used to resolve conflicts. The following are a few of them:
- Conflicts can be addressed through discussions and the intervention of a third party. Conflicts can be resolved by attempting to find mutually acceptable solutions. This necessitates comprehension and faith.
- In circumstances where there is a problem, negotiation refers to reciprocal contacts to reach an agreement.
- Sometimes it’s difficult to resolve a problem through negotiation; in those cases, a third-party mediator or arbitrator is required.
- Mediators assist both parties in narrowing their discussions to the most important issues and reaching an amicable solution. After hearing both sides, the third party has the authority to decide in arbitration.
