Kasturba Memorial College, Bangalore conducted a charity show in aid of the flood-affected people of Andhra

Last week, cyclone Gaja landed in Andhra Pradesh. After, its landing Andhra Pradesh received rainfall continuously for three days. The rain caused flooding in all the districts of Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad was the worst affected among all the places in Andhra Pradesh.
The speed of the wind was 150-180 miles per hour. It destroyed everything on its way. Hundreds of people lost their lives. The destroyed properties include houses, vehicles, and everything that a man could possess. Many people have no food to eat and no water to drink. Parents were unable to buy milk to feed their babies. It worried me and, I decided to conduct a charity show as a cultural secretary of the student’s council in my college.
So I formed a team of five members. We requested our principal to permit us to conduct a charity show for the people of Andhra. Our principal nodded his head without any hesitation. Since time was less we decided to stage a one-hour play. We rehearsed for one day and the 1000 seat auditorium was full. The play did not go well. But the audience appreciated our effort and supported us with money to help the people of Andhra.
