ACCIDENT

22nd February 2022, Chennai. A major bus mishap had taken place at Nicholas Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai on 21st February 2022. According to the eye witness Ramesh Lal, a tea vendor, the accident took place at noon when the bus tipped over a boulder present on the road. The driver said he tried to balance the wheels but couldn’t until the bus fell flat on the ground. Luckily, no life was lost, and all passengers were sent to a local hospital for a checkup. Unfortunately, because of the carelessness of the municipality, the boulder on the road was not removed and hence caused the emergency. A complaint was registered by the passengers regarding the matter in the municipal office, to which the Mayor responded with regret.
