A man named Rajan murdered an elderly couple in broad daylight. A seventy-year-old man named Ashok and his sixty-eight-year-old wife Karishma were returning home after withdrawing money from ATM. Since they could not walk, they sat on the bench near the pavement. Karishma asked Ashok to buy her a water bottle in the shop adjacent to them. After purchasing the water bottle, Ashok took his purse to pay money for the water bottle.

At that time, Rajan was standing next to Ashok. He saw the purse full of money and kept an eye on the wallet to steal. After taking some rest, they continued to walk. Meanwhile, Rajan was following them. At Vasanth enclave, Rajan tried to pick the wallet from Ashok’s pant pocket. Ashok somehow managed to grab the hand of Rajan. Karishma tried to beat Rajan. Rajan got angry, took his gun, shot the couple, and escaped from the place approximately around 11:00 am. People got terrified by the incident and immediately called the police. 

All these events were recorded on CCTV. Since the police already knew about the history of Rajan, it was easy for them to find and arrest him.
