What is COMEDK?

Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is a common entrance test held at the national level for candidates striving to get admission to around 190 private engineering colleges situated in Karnataka. It works as an autonomous body that has been entrusted to conduct the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET).

Eligibility criteria

It should be noted that COMEDK does not conduct a Bachelor in Architecture (BArch) entrance test. However, it provides counseling based on the score that the candidate got on the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The eligibility criteria for Btech and BArch are:

For Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech)

  • Qualification: Candidates should pass 10+2 examination

  • Subjects in 10+2: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; English as compulsory

  • Minimum marks: PCM aggregate- 45%, English- 50%

For Bachelor in Architecture (B.Arch)

  • Qualification: Candidates should pass 10+2 and score at least 80 marks in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA)

  • Subjects in 10+2: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

  • Minimum marks: PCM aggregate- 45%, English- 50%

COMEDK Application process

The application form for COMEDK UGET is released online on the official COMEDK website. The steps for registration are

  1. Visit the official COMEDK website

  2. Click on the link for registration

  3. Fill out the application form

  4. Upload the required documents according to the guidelines

  5. Pay an application fee of Rs.1800 and save the receipt for future reference

COMEDK UGET Admit card

How to download the admit card of COMEDK UGET:

  1. Visit the official website of COMEDK

  2. Search for the UGET section and click on Test Admission Ticket

  3. Fill up the application number and password and submit it.

  4. The Admit card will appear, save it for future reference.
