Details about the University
Coventry University was founded in 1843 on the creation of the Coventry College of Design. It was given a new name Coventry College of Art after combining with Rugby College of Engineering Technology, and Lanchester College of Technology. The resulting organization was initially known as Lanchester Polytechnic, then changed its name to Coventry Polytechnic, and was established as Coventry University in 1992. The university’s emblem is the Phoenix, a mythical bird that symbolizes how Coventry rebuilt itself after World War II. Rankings show how committed Coventry University is to offering excellent instruction and how much of an emphasis it places on applied research. Coventry University was named the best university in the Midlands by The Guardian University Guide 2022.

Application Procedure
How soon do admissions begin?
- Three intakes are available at Coventry University: January, May, and September. The course being applied for and the intake determine the application dates. The application period opens in mid-May for overseas students applying to undergraduate programmes through UCAS, and the deadline for most undergraduate programmes is January 15. The deadline is October 15 for the majority of Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Medicine/Science courses. University admissions choices are made beginning in September.

Stepwise Application process
Step 1: In the application process applicants are required to choose their programme of study from among those offered for a given intake.
Step 2: Next, students must review the minimal admission standards and any program-specific requirements that apply to their programmes.
Step 3: Applicants must submit their applications, which they may do online, by printable form, or via UCAS.
Step 4: After accepting an offer, candidates must comply with the terms of the offer, which include submitting the required paperwork and paying a GBP 4,000 deposit.
Step 5: Following receipt of the CAS letter, applicants will submit applications for a student visa and housing.

Scholarship and Financial Aid
- Numerous scholarships are available to international students from Coventry University. These awards, which can change for each intake, are primarily meant to honor students for their academic prowess. But there are generally three different kinds of scholarships:

Any scholarship awarded may be coupled with this discount up to a combined total of GBP 2,000.
