What is report writing?
- Narrate, describe, story, and tell are some of the other words for the word report.
- To narrate or describe the events that you witnessed or heard from others in a written form is called report writing.
Types of Report writing:
- Newspaper report writing (It focusses on all types of subjects that includes politics, economy, sports, lifestyle etc in one edition)
- Magazine report writing (It focusses only on one subject in one edition. If the magazine is on sports you cannot find any other news than sports in its edition)
Format of Newspaper and Magazine reporting:

The first impression is the best impression. A title tells the readers on what your article is all about.

Now explain your report from the beginning to the end of an event briefly.

- Conclusion
At the end summarize your report by highlighting interesting facts or what is further building up related to the report

Mention the source from where or whom you got the information.
