Overview of the Hakeem Abdul Hameed Scholarship

Hamdard National Foundation of India provides scholarships for 12th pass students. The scholarship aims at providing financial support to the students to continue their higher education. Students who scored 50% in 12th from any recognized board can apply online for the scholarship. India SC/ ST/ OBC/ Minority/ General community students can apply online for Hakeem Abdul Hameed Scholarship.

Objective of the Scholarship

Hamdard Foundation of India provides a scholarship scheme to the students of financially weaker sections. The main objective of the Hakim Abdul Hameed scholarship is to provide higher education to the students with 50% marks in 12th from the recognised state or other Board.

Eligibility criteria of the scholarship

  1. Candidates applying for Hakeem Abdul Hameed Scholarship must follow these guidelines:
  2. Candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in 12th standard from the recognised board.
  3. Candidates must belong to the SC/ ST/ Minority/ OBC/ General community.
  4. The average income of the candidate’s parents must be less than 3 lakhs.
  5. Candidates getting other scholarships or any freeships cannot apply for this scholarship.
  6. Applied candidates will get admitted in any technical, professional or any diploma courses.

Selection process of the scholarship

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of academic performance, annual family income, and the other criteria mentioned in details of the scholarship. Names of the selected candidates will be listed on the official website. A telephonic interview will be done by the interviewers once the selection process gets over.

  1. Bonafide certificate of the candidate from the Head of the Department/ School
  2. Passport size photo
  3. MarkSheets (class 10th and 12th Board)
  4. Family Income Certificate of the student
  5. Scanned copy of Aadhaar Card
  6. Bank Passbook
  7. Certificate of Sports Participation 
  8. Character Certificate of the student

Last date of the scholarship

The last date to apply for Hakeem Abdul Hakim scholarship will be October 2022. Candidates can register their names and fill the application form on the official website.

No. Candidates are advised to download the Application form and submit it by post to the address or by hand . It is a complete offline process.
