How is social change to be distinguished from other kinds of change?

Solution : Unlike other types of change, social change refers to significant changes in the basis of a society’s social structure and systems. Other types of change may have an impact on specific parts of social life without affecting the overall. Social transformations are not subject to such limitations. It does not contain little changes, but rather major ones that have a significant impact on society. Such changes must have a significant and far-reaching impact. As a result, societal changes are changes that affect a big portion of society. A change in government, for example, may not be considered a societal change.
