What for HPCET?
Himachal Pradesh Technical University has originated Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) to offer UG\PG Admissions. Many institutes have participated in Entrance examinations for the admission process.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has released the application and the exam date of HPCET 2022. Interested Candidates can apply on HPCET’s official Website.
Release of HPCET 2022 Exam date
HPCET 2022 Exam is going to be held on 10th July 2022. The closing date of the Application submission is on 18th June 2022.
Candidates can check the syllabus of the HPCET 2022 to attend the examination. The required subject for the examination is Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The Release of the HPCET 2022 Admit Card will be informed. Applicants can download the admit card for the HPCET website after the official announcement.
It’s tentatively scheduled for July 20 to announce the HPCET result in 2022. Through the result of HPCET 2022, the scores and ranks of the entrance exam will be released. Participants can access the results by logging in.

Himachal Pradesh Technical University will conduct HPCET 2022 Exam.
The exam was announced for UG Level.
HPCET 2022 Exam will be held in the form of pen and paper-based tests.
BTech/BPharm/BHMCT & BSc/MTech/MPharm/MSc/MBA/BBA/MCA/BCA courses will be provided.
The duration period of the HPCET 2022 Exam is 3 hours.
The Examination fee for the General Category is INR 1550 and for SC/ST/BPL Category is INR 1400.
150 questions will be given in the HPCET 2022 Examination.
Candidates will obtain two marks for each correct answer and 0.5 marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer.
The Examination will be conducted in English.
Eligibility to Apply – HPCET 2022
The Applicants who have passed the class 12th Exam are eligible. As part of their compulsory course of study, students must complete Physics, Mathematics, and one Chemistry, Biology, or Technical Vocational subject. Candidates should secure at least 45% marks (40% if reserved category) in the required Subjects. If the eligibility requirements are not met, applicants will not be considered for admission to the participating institutes.
