INDUSTRIAL SECTOR

India’s industrial sector base is the handicraft industry. As with the arrival of British rule this sector like agriculture also declined. The continous decline in the handicraft industry also known as systematically de-industralising of India. All this is done by British government just to make India only exporter of raw material which is used by them to produce finished goods in Britain and also help the modern industries in Britain. Because of all these unemployment spread all over India and India became dependent on cheap finished consumer goods from Britain.
