Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2003 by Ramgarhia Educational Council. The Institute is affiliated to the Punjab Technical University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Admission procedure

Ramgarhia College of Engineering and Technology accepts students based on both merit and entrance examinations.
Entrance to B.Tech programmes is determined on Jee Mains scores, whereas admission to MBA and M.Tech programmes is determined by GMAT and CMAT scores, respectively.
