Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University is also known as MRSPTU. The university is located in Bathinda, Punjab and was established by the Punjab Government. University details:

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University was established in 2015 by the Punjab Government. The university is affiliated with the Technical University recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of the India University (AIU). MRSPTU has 22 courses and 14 different departments which offer Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Doctorate courses. At present  MRSPTU runs six consistent colleges and forty-six affiliated colleges.

MRSPTU Courses and Fees:

Application Procedure:

Admission to MRSPTU is done online through the University website. The application process of the University is a two-step process- registration of the candidate and submission of the application.

1. Visit the official website of the University.
2. Click on the new registration.
3. Complete the registration process by submitting the details.
4. Submit your valid contact number. The application number and password details will be sent to the registered mobile number.
5. Upload recent passport-size photos and other academic qualifications.
6. Apply by paying a fee through online mode.

2. Class 10th and 12th mark sheet
3. Caste certificate (if any)
4. Transfer certificate
5. NOC (For PhD students) 

Infrastructure:

• Library

MRSPTU has a good collection of books and journals. The library contains 53508 books, 658 e-books, 67 National journals, 337 CDs, 8 Magazines and 13 Newspapers. Besides, the University has a Web OPAC and provides DELNET services to the Faculty.

• Hostel

The University has a hostel for students from outside the State. It has a total of five hostels, one for girls and four for boys. Each hostel is under the strict guidance of a warden and has certain rules and regulations.

• Sports Complex

The University provides an opportunity for the students to play inter-university matches. The University has designated courts, professional coaches, psychological support and training.

• Gym

Placements:

The highest salary package offered by the University is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. MRSPTU offers many types of internships in various companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc. Many students of the University get placements in companies like Amazon, Walmart and IBM.
