About AP EAMCET

The Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET), formerly known as the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agricultural and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test, has been renamed the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada administers the state-level exam for admission to the more than 425 private institutions in the state of Andhra Pradesh that offers engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy programs. Only JNTU is authorized by the State Council to conduct the AP EAMCET exam (APSCHE).

AP EAMCET 2022

Details 

AP EAMCET stands for Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test. The exam is conducted through Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The exam is taken once a year. The level of the exam is the same as the state-level exam. The application process is online. The fee for the general category is INR 600. Of the SC/ST category is INR 500. The BC category application fee is INR 550.

AP EAMCET 2022 Guidance

  • To complete the admissions process, APSCHE will conduct the counseling online. 
  • The counseling process includes several steps, including paying the processing fee
  • Checking the status of the verification process
  • Registering candidates, entering options, assigning seats, and reporting to the designated college.

Cutoff 2022

  • After the declaration of the results, APSCHE will publish the AP EAMCET 2022 Cut Off for all categories. 
  • 25% of the total marks allowed to be taken into account for the ranking will be the qualifying percentage.
  • There is no set minimum qualifying mark for candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST), though.
  • The number of seats set aside for the ST/SC categories will determine how many people can be admitted.

Preparation Tips

  • Candidates are advised to spend as much time as possible reviewing all the topics with a high weight.
  •  To do that, they must first be familiar with the key PCM concepts.
  • Make sure to develop a revision strategy and adhere to it strictly.
  •  The schedule must be followed precisely.
  • Candidates are required to take brief notes while studying. On the day of the exam, the revision notes will be useful for quick review.
  • To develop your numerical problem-solving skills and time management, try solving the exam papers from the previous year.
  • To avoid stress at the last minute, candidates should download their AP EAMCET hall tickets and store them safely.

Application Process

  • The application process includes several steps, including paying the fee and signing up.
  • Filling out the application form
  • Uploading the necessary documents, and finally submitting them. 
  • Candidates must complete these steps to submit a successful application for the exam. 
  • Only qualified applicants’ applications will be accepted.

Eligibility Criteria 

The requirements established by JNTU Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE for applicants seeking admission to engineering, medical, and agricultural programs are known as the AP EAMCET 2022 eligibility criteria. Candidates must meet the following requirements  to be eligible:

Criteria for General Eligibility

Candidates must be citizens of India or be Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) or Overseas Indians (OCI)

Candidates must be citizens of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. They must comply with the local/non-local status requirements set forth by educational institutions for admission.

Age Limit

BTech Engineering (Bio-Tech course)

Passed exams administered by the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of AP/Telangana, in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.

Age must be at least 17 by December 31, 2022.

Pharmacy

Passed in optional math, science, and physics courses, or with biological and natural sciences

 

Candidates for the PharmD program must have scored at least 45% in the qualifying exam (or 40% if they fall under the reserved SC/ST category).

At the time of admission, a person must be at least 16 years old.

There is no maximum age.

Agriculture

Candidates must have completed any of the following subjects in their qualifying examination for the 10+2 course:

both B.Sc. and B.Sc (Hort)

1. Physical Sciences 

2. Natural or biological science

3. Agriculture 

4. Agriculture Vocational Course

B.V. Sc. & A.H.

  1. Physical sciences
  2. Natural or biological sciences

3. Veterinary Science Vocational Courses

In B.F.Sc.

As of December 31, 2022, you must be 17 years old.

The maximum age for general, OBC, and other candidates is 22 years old.

Admit Card

  • A few days before the exam date, the eligible candidates will receive their admit cards. 
  • The admit card 2022 is required for entry into the exam room. None of the candidates will be allowed to take the exam without an admit card.
  • It will include information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, exam location, birth date, etc. 
  • Up until the conclusion of the admissions process, candidates should keep their admit cards safe.
