by:XYZ
Today schools never teach moral education to students. It results in the disobedience of students to parents and teachers. Students never feel guilty about committing mistakes. These kinds of trends increasing among students in recent years. The Principal of Happy Spring School, Pune, invited a well-known social worker Sudha Rangarajan to address the student on Moral Education in the school Prayer Assembly.
She began with the Martin Luther King quote by saying, “Education without morals is like a ship without compass, wandering nowhere.”Education without teaching moral values will separate students; from following honesty, tolerance, forgiving tendency, and every good manner important for a person to live a good life. It will lead students to achieve their goals by lying, cheating, etc.
Soon it will make students lack confidence in themselves and think that they can’t achieve any of their goals without malpractice. All these bad manners will bring students to a point where they cannot move forward in their life like a ship without a compass. After hearing her speech, students realized their mistakes and promised Sudha Rangarajan to follow the moral values of life by being an example to others.
