The University provides a wide variety of part-time courses, ranging from taught master’s degrees and doctorate degrees to postgraduate certifications and diplomas. With these programmes, you can fit graduate-level study around obligations to your family, job, or other obligations.

  • Although part-time students are free from the University’s housing requirements, they must still travel to Oxford for most of their in-person classes. Please read the information regarding visa eligibility for part-time courses if you need a visa to study in the UK.

  • Visiting Student status

  • Students can apply to a college for a place as a visiting student if they are an international student who wants to spend up to three terms (or one academic year) in Oxford taking a course that is relevant to the degree they are studying at home. The curriculum for Oxford’s undergraduate courses would be followed by visiting students since it is not possible to participate in the activities of the university’s taught graduate courses.
