Solution: 1.One of the most important environmental issues is resource dpletion, or the use of non-renewable natural resources.
.The rapid drop in groundwater levels is a serious issue across India, particularly in Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
.Rivers have also been dammed and redirected, resulting in lasting damage to water basin ecosystem.
.Many water bodies in urban areas have been filled in and built on, obliterating the landscape’s natural drainage system.
.Topsoil, like groundwater, is formed over thousands of years. Poor environmental management is destroying this agricultural resource as well, causing erosion, waterlogging, and salinization.
.Another cause of topsoil erosion is the manufacture of bricks for house construction.
.Other key resources under rapid depletion include biodiversity habitats such as forests, grasslands, and wetlands, which are mostly attributable to the growth of agricultural land.
