Solution :Untouchability is a social practice within the caste system in which individuals of the lowest castes are regarded to be ritually filthy to the point that they pollute the environment simply by touching or even seeing them. Untouchable castes are at the bottom of the hierarchical system. Most social institutions are closed to these low castes. It is a very cruel and harsh component of the caste system. Members of castes at the bottom of the purity contamination scale are subjected to harsh social and religious punishments. They are not regarded to be part of the caste system.
